Join me for an immersive wildlife photography workshop in the breathtaking landscapes of Utah. In this hands-on workshop, you will focus on capturing the beauty and diversity of the state's incredible birdlife. This workshop is designed for photographers of all skill levels who are eager to refine their bird photography techniques while exploring some of Utah’s most stunning natural habitats.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity to develop your bird photography skills in one of the most beautiful and wildlife-rich regions of the United States. Come ready to explore, learn, and capture stunning images of Utah’s avian wonders!

Over the course of this workshop, you will:

  • Learn Expert Techniques: Focus on the art of photographing in their natural environment. Scott will cover key aspects such as composition, lighting, exposure settings, and how to work with a variety of subjects.

  • Explore Diverse Habitats: Utah is home to a wide variety of birds, from majestic raptors to vibrant songbirds and shorebirds. You'll visit mudflats, and mountainous regions, offering diverse opportunities for capturing birds in different environments.

  • Hands-On Experience: With the guidance of professional wildlife photographers, you'll have plenty of time to experiment with your gear and improve your technical skills.  In addition to the photography session, Scott is available to talk about birds, wildlife or photography in general as we travel the Salt Lake City area

  • Airfare is not included but all other transportation is covered
  • Accommodations at an Air BnB style house with private bedrooms
