A father of 4 boys, I took up photography as my kids grew older.  In 2013, I purchased a camera and lens to shoot them playing sports.  I quickly combined this new hobby with my love for nature and wildlife.  In 2014, purchased a longer lens and began to specialize in avian photography and that is where my true passion lies today.

Now, you will find me in spring chasing warblers in the woods.

In summer, I will be prone on the beach somewhere shooting shorebirds.

When raptors migrate in fall, I will be in the mountains, trying to identify them at distance and hoping to get great images as they come in close.

In winter, waterfowl and winter raptors are my challenge.

Of course, you can also always find me here or on social media @SKeysImages.
